Supermodel and long-time OMEGA Brand Ambassador Cindy Crawford was on hand at the OMEGA Boutique in Panama on 4th June 2008 to celebrate the Swiss watchmaker’s 160th year in business.
Cindy, who has worked with OMEGA since 1995, was instrumental in the design of the contemporary Ladies’ Constellation line of watches and she introduced the Constellation “OMEGA 160 Years” watches.
Cindy Crawford, still one of the world’s most beautiful women, was introduced by OMEGA president Stephen Urquhart. She thanked members of the press and an enthusiastic audience for the warmth and hospitality she had enjoyed in Panama and commented on her relationship with OMEGA, saying, “As a long-standing member of the OMEGA family, it always gives me great pleasure to see my old friends from the company and to make new ones around the world on behalf of the brand.”
Cindy also talked about the fact that her role with OMEGA goes beyond her public appearances for the brand. “As many of you know,” she said, “I am not only an enthusiastic spokesperson for OMEGA; I was also actively involved in the design and development of the Constellations which I have now been wearing for more than ten years.”
The wristwatches in OMEGA’s Constellation line are among the most recognisable and popular in the world. When Cindy Crawford famously made the Constellation her choice more than a decade ago, a generation enthusiastically followed her lead, making the watch she inspired its own choice.
